Investigation of Postgraduate Theses on Classroom Management of Teachers Working in Secondary Schools by Document Analysis
The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses on classroom management of teachers in secondary schools by document analysis. For the purpose of the study, a total of 30 postgraduate theses conducted between 2018-2022 were examined. Within the scope of this purpose, the main characteristics of the studies examining the classroom management of teachers in secondary schools were discussed. Descriptive analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative data analysis techniques, was used as data analysis method. In the examination of postgraduate studies on classroom management of teachers in secondary schools, the "Publication Review Form" developed by the researchers by making use of the relevant literature was used. The publication review form was analysed according to the years of the research, data types, research designs, sample group and finally themes. According to the research findings; it is seen that the most theses related to postgraduate studies on classroom management of teachers in secondary schools were conducted in 2019 and quantitative research methods were preferred as the research type. At the same time, when the theses were analysed according to the research themes, the theme of "classroom order" came to the fore in the studies on classroom management of teachers.
