Investigation of Postgraduate Studies on Classroom Management
Teachers should be comfortable in the classroom and have effective skills in classroom management. In this direction, it is extremely important to examine the classroom management status of teachers, who have a very valuable place in society. Within the scope of the objective of this study, a total of 40 postgraduate theses written in 2016-2022 were analysed. In line with this goal, the basic characteristics of the research studies on the classroom management of teachers working in primary schools were examined. Descriptive analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative data analysis techniques, was used as data analysis method. As a result of the study; it is understood that most theses related to postgraduate research on classroom management of teachers working in primary schools were written in 2020 and quantitative research methods were used as research type. In addition, when the theses are analysed according to the research themes, it is seen that the theme of ‘classroom order’ stands out in the research studies related to classroom management of teachers.
