Abstract
The history of the emergence and development of natural sciences in the Islamic world
One of the main purposes of writing this article is undoubtedly to show that there is no contradiction between science and religion (Islam), to explain and clarify the importance of science in terms of the requirements of the religion brought by the Prophet. It is to say that the struggle waged against religion (especially Islam) in our country and in the world during the Soviet period is unwarranted in modern times. Because the comprehensive study of Islamic culture, the revelation of the essence of Islam is one of the urgent issues of modern social life, and the scientific justification of the unity of Islam and science is one of the most important tasks of religious scholars. As is known, in the Middle Ages, Islamic sciences as well as Greek culture and philosophy were transferred to European countries through Muslims. The Islamic culture that emerged in the Middle Ages and the Muslim scientists who served this culture made great contributions to world science. There is no doubt that the Holy Qur'an, which is the source of divine knowledge, played a special role in the development of Muslim scientists who brought innovations to world science in both humanities and physical sciences. In order to properly understand the culture created by the new Islam brought by the Holy Qur'an, it is necessary to analyse it from a religious point of view.
