The Effects of Counsellors' Transformational Leadership Behaviours on Organisational Commitment
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of transformational leadership behaviours of guidance counselors on teachers' organisational commitment. The population of the study consists of 7895 teachers working in Sur and Bağlar districts of Diyarbakır centre in the 2023-2024 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 200 teachers determined by random sampling from the population. In this study, the ‘Organisational Commitment Scale’ developed by Meyer, Allen and Smith (1993) and adapted into Turkish by Dağlı, Elçiçek and Han (2018) and the ‘Transformational Leadership Scale’ developed by Taş and Çetiner in 2007 were used. In the analysis of the research data, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage values, t-test and ANOVA were calculated.
