Measuring Service Quality in Education Sector
The aim of this study is to provide general information about the measurement of service quality in the education sector. Customer satisfaction and service quality are the key to success in the service sector. Businesses use various methods to collect and evaluate customer feedback. Commonly used methods: In the education sector, research is carried out easily and quickly by using the survey method. In this research, one of the services provided by higher education institutions is evaluated from the perspective of students. In this context, data were collected from 100 secondary and high school students in the 2022-2023 academic year by using the survey technique within the scope of simple random sampling method. As a result of the analysis of the data, information on cleaning, technology, guidance, classrooms, and course achievements were obtained for the services provided by the students. Within the framework of these dimensions, service quality results were calculated in Yenişehir Şehit Kübra Doğanay Secondary and High School. This result shows that schools are in a good position in terms of service quality. However, there is a need for small arrangements to improve service quality.
