Investigation of Studies on Individual and Team Sports
This study aims to examine postgraduate studies on individual and team sports conducted between 2005 and 2022 through document analysis. A total of 40 postgraduate theses conducted during this period were examined. The study focused on the main characteristics of research addressing individual and team sports. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. Descriptive analysis was employed to analyze the data. A “Publication Review Form,” developed by the researcher based on the relevant literature, was used to examine the theses in terms of university, year, data type, research design, and sample group. The findings showed that the largest number of theses on individual and team sports were conducted in 2022 and that quantitative research methods were used more frequently than other research methods.
